Missed my post yesterday, so I will do 2 today. With summer coming up, we have to consider the effect that Extreme heat has on our battery. Heat is the worst enemy of most batteries, including lead acid, but it cant always be avoided. If you battery needs to be charged in extreme heat use a charger that has temperature compensation sensors to adjust the charge voltage for the optimum charge efficiency. Temperature compensation on a lead acid charger adjusts for temperature variations and prolongs battery life by up to 15%.
