Missing some of our key players - Will R, Bailey, Josh & Harvey, we struggled a bit in the first half with Eden leading 12-0 (I think). But our boys soon stood up to the task with all players putting in a huge effort to fight back. It was especially great to see some of the players who dont often get involved as much in the game getting the opportunity to have some great runs & tackles. Solid runs by Ryan, Aaron, our 3 Lukes, with Luke L having his best game of the year scoring 1 try & Luke G (Shaw) scoring 2 tries & converting 1. Rory as always was everywhere & scored 1 great try, Archer, Lachy & Jett all had a great defensive & offensive game making some great breaks & tackles. Lachy converting a try & Jett scoring 2 tries & converting 1. Awesome defence by Riley who made a try saving tackle after not giving up the chase!! Tom did well stepping into first receiver. Overall, as I tend to say every week, all boys played well, put in a huge effort & should be extremely proud of themselves in turning the game around & winning 32-26!! Next week (2/8) we have a bye, is anyone interested in a sausage sizzle at Spencer Park at 11am Sat BYO chairs/ nibbles/ drinks & well supply sausages & bread??
