Mission 1,000: 1,000 Fishing Poles for 1,000 Kids -------- Keith Miller is a member of our church and is about to complete his goal of catching a fish a day for 1,000 consecutive days. Keith began this journey with the intent of raising awareness for getting kids outdoors. Our church is partnering with Keith in this effort to raise funds for the fishing poles. Bass Pro Shops is going to supply the fishing poles at a discounted price for the project. All funds raised for this project will go through our church. This will be a widely advertised project and we would like all of our members to spread the word in the community. Anyone wishing to donate funds may do so by writing a check to Central UMC (Memo: Mission 1,000).
