Mission Mountains Wilderness Trail Conditions Report Comments: Expect to encounter deep snow above 6000 feet in elevation. Please use extreme caution at water crossing due to high, swift currents. All trailheads can now be reached. Stock Users: High-lines are left up at Cedar, Lower Ducharme, Piper, and Whelp Lakes in an attempt to concentrate and minimize stock impacts. Please do not take them down. Expect to encounter patchy, deep snow the last ½ mile to Lower Cold Lake. Lower Cold Lake is unthawed. 301 Elk Ridge Trail has not been cleared of blowdown. 351 Crystal Lake Trail has not been cleared of blowdown. 490 Lindbergh 06/17 Trail has been cleared of blowdown. Expect to encounter portions of wet, muddy trail conditions. 515 Hemlock Peak Trail has been cleared of blowdown to the wilderness boundary. 607 Hemlock Lake Trail has been cleared of blowdown to Lower Hemlock Lake. Lower Hemlock Lake is unthawed. Expect to encounter patchy snow the last ½ mile to the lake. The cutacross trail that meets the 515 trail has been partially cleared of blowdown. 690 Glacier Creek Trail has been cleared to Glacier Lake and above to the Turquoise/Crescent trail junction. Expect to encounter deep snow past that upper trail junction. Repairs have been made to the first walk log. Water is splashing onto the second walk-log. Please use extreme caution at both creek crossings due to high, swift currents and slippery walk-logs. 695 Hemlock Feeder 06/12 Trail has been cleared of blowdown. Expect to encounter patchy snow. Lower Hemlock Lake is unthawed. 708 Turquoise Lake The trail has not been cleared of blowdown. Expect to encounter deep snow still covering most of the upper portions of the trail. 738 Cedar-Piper Trail has not been cleared of blowdown.
