Mission Trip to Tanzania... Part of this is raising awareness, and funds for the trip. Lets see how it goes! Thanks Ellen Ellen M. Diehl diehlellen@yahoo cell 770-712-9990 It is with GREAT HUMILITY that I am writing to ask for your support. Due to family circumstances I have not been on a mission trip since 2005. After praying for an opportunity to serve, I was presented with a mission trip to Tanzania. I am convicted this is the answer to what I prayed for, because it takes me out of my comfort zone. The dates are October 14-23, 2013 and I am going with my church. One Heart is a church that not only believes the Great Commission; we act on it. The Tanzania Mission Project will be one of many that One Heart Church members are involved in during 2013. This trip will conduct medical missions in various villages and to work closely with churches and pastors in the area to minister to orphans and church members. The humbling part comes in asking for your support. First of all, prayer. Our team needs you to begin praying now. Our top four requests at this point, are: Pray for wisdom as we identify strategic points of impact in Tanzania. Pray for the hearts of the children we will be ministering too. Pray for the churches where we will be sharing the Gospel. Pray for team member’s preparation and health. (#5 and my personal bullet point! The flight is 8 hours, lay over, then 9 hours. You can pray as you are led!) Secondly (and more humbling) involves your participation in supporting this trip financially. A trip of this size costs a great deal. Please know I understand where many people are financially, and prayer support is far more valuable to me than financial support. Each team member is trusting God to provide for their portion of the overall trip cost. Should you desire to give please notice the following guidelines. You are making a tax-deductible contribution to the Missions Ministry of One Heart Church. Therefore, make your check payable to ONE HEART CHURCH. Please do not write my name on the check anywhere. Normally there are GLOBAL MISSIONS CARDs enclosed and stamped return envelopes. However, I am the last one to join the team... normally I would mail letters with enclosures – yet, I have to start asap with emails. So please contact me so we can work out details!. Our team has set a goal of September 1, 2013 to have all our support raised. ($2,000 by 8/15 the balance of $1,850 by 9/1) Of course this goal is a matter of prayer as well.
