Mission janchetna Our Guide Janchetna Family respects all great men and women involved in the betterment of humanity irrespective of their time, race, region, social set up and religion they followed and as a mark of respect have included, with gratefulness, their views in our Manifesto. But our guide, no doubt, is Guru (Baba) Nanak (1469-1539AD). We, solemnly, owe our Concept, Ideology and scope of our activities to this great man. Guru Nanak Dev was born on 15th April, 1469 in Talwandi Rai Bhoi in West Punjab. The place is, now, known as Nankana Sahib and is part of Pakistan. Due to traditional reasons, his birthday is celebrated with pump and show in the month of November every year (this year on 6th November).
