Missy Waguespack asked, Ive been considering homeschooling for several months now. My children are in 2nd grade and kindergarten. While Ive been researching, multiple bugs from school have circulated through my house. My youngest has had strep (plus other bugs) in the last 2 months alone. My oldest has already missed 6 days so far from being sick. Im seriously thinking about pulling her out now before it even gets to the point of a court date due to absences. (All but 1 are covered by doctors notes). Im most concerned about my lack of patience (homework can be rough.. Lol) with my oldest reflecting my teaching ability. This school year has been rough on my oldest. Shes lost her enthusiasm for learning and Im already fed up with Common Core and where its heading. Im just feeling insecure in my ability to educate her, I guess. Any insights? Reassurance? Encouragement?
