Misty Upham. I was in Seattle in April when Tracy Rector introduced Misty to I at a screening of Jimmy P at Tracys Indigenous Film Series. Following the film, a bunch of us went out for dinner and had a hell of a good time getting to know each other. Misty sat next to me and we talked about the hardships of show biz tempered with what it was like to work with Meryl Streep. Afterwards, a handful of us walked back to the theater to clean up and continue visiting. Since then I had followed her FB posts and remained impressed. This news is hard to believe. Take care Misty. My condolences to her family and friends.
