Mitakuyapi. We have lost a beautiful soul. My deepest condolences and prayers to each of you. We will miss our Precious Maske so very much. She was so very special to everyone whos life she touched.. for that our world is a better place. I want to thank each of you for coming to help the family. I know that is what she would have done also. Remember one of her many teaching Maske Rosalie taught was what it was to being a good relative, not only to people but also to Uncimaka (mother earth), from the smallest ant to the biggest buffalo bull. We have our work cut out for us as shes watching us in hopes that we remember her humble teachings and ways. The Wateca Challenge is on as we gather to honor Maske Rosalie, traditional teachings. Her and I would talk about bringing our own dishes and why it was important; its not just about using less paper, but about taking back our spiritual sovereignty and honoring our ancestors... lets do this for her. Wopila Maske for being my sister, friend, and mentor. Love you and I will miss you so very much. Safe travels my dear sister.
