Mitch McConnell says that the Senate role in advice and consent is under direct attack. Reids moving to require that nominations be, well voted on, that such a vote cant be delayed by a minority which has behaved recently in egregiously unprecedented, obstructionist fashion, and, at that, excluding Supreme Court noominees, which will still be subject to filibuster. Seems to me Mitch cant read and comprehend all that well, since an actual vote on a nomination would be, well, consent or not. The connection between obstruction of nominations and the health care bills messy implementation is also somewhat obscure to me...
