Mitch and I have believed for many years that our lives are truly blessed. The events of this passed month have made that even more true. It was 4 weeks ago that the Dr. found a mass in Mitchs pancreas and the Dr. explained that 80% of the time it is pancreatic cancer. On Oct 8 a portion of his pancreas, his gall bladder and other stuff was removed. No cancer was found at that time but we were told that a complete biopsy was necessary and it would take over 5 days. Last night we received the report. We are thrilled that Mitch is one of those fortunate 20%. No cancer was found in anything. Mitch came home 2 days ago and is doing very well. He takes short walks, is eating small portions of food and is a pretty happy camper. We were waiting for results before we talked about this. We thank so many of you who have kept us in your prayers-it helped!
