Mithu(pet name of yousif) is no more with his parents.!!! He lived in a house across the road just opposite to my residence cum Ultrasound clinic . He was around 4 yrs old, such a sweet,fragile and tiny kid he was . While parking my car in garage , I oftenly watched him, playing with his elder brother and pretening riding keenly on front seat of bike with his father. About 10 days ago,the news of his being kidnapped spread in Dadu town like a wild-fire and greatly shocked me too. Instead of searching thoroughly the every nook and corner of Dadu city and near-by suspected peripheral areas,Yousif remained still disappeared...it was all in vain. Yet, Mithus parents were not hopeless. They had a silver lining behind the dark clouds of inner fears and dismay ht some day,some moment ,they ll get the news of their loved ones safe recovery. Even they were happily ready to pay the demanded ransom if asked for. For that,they kept left there doors unlocked every night .... But........ a day ago , they recieved the news which they still deny to be true .....the heart breaking news of brutal murder of their precious gift of nature. I pray that No parent should have ever to suffer such heartache or grief. Again ,another innocent life devoured by a beast in human guise... The bottom-line of kidnapping a little angel was so horrific tht it still shocks our collective conscience.Whole city of Dadu has been plunged into the deep sea of bewilderment and outrage at such heinous act. Obviously ,over the last 7 years, there has been an alarming increase in incidents of kidnapping for ransom,forcible rapes, child abuse,aggravated or felony assaults, robberies,decoities,first degree arson, and ofcourse,the so called Karo- kari.....and still a lot other varieties of crimes go unnoticed and unregistered owing to social restrictions and shame felt by the victims . Undeniable fact is , if the criminals realize tht they will never be hunted down but rather will get relief or exoneration by giving money for their crime,it will only lead to further increase in crime and disaster...so is the case here in our region... Authorities....now have to open their eyes to tackle with this issue,Justice now has to wake up from deep sleep, nation now has to change his pattern. The role played and co-operation offored by Dadu police deptt is highly appreciable in this case though , but unexpectedly and unfortunately the key person appeared to be the close relative of affected family...!!! We ,the Daduians, are deeply saddened and shocked at this situation ,and collectively condemn such horrendous act and stand with affected family and seek to bring to justice those responsible. At the end of the day,I would like to add few words for the bereaved family,that at such a tragic moment we are left with no alternatives but to bow to Almightys will and seek his mercy and blessings for our dears departed soul. May Allah, the most beneficient ,the most merciful ,grant Ada Nawaz Babar and his family the enduarance to bear this tragic loss and reward his family for the patience He has promised.
