Mixability Youth Circus - Where the focus is on circus ability not disability After the success of the free Mixability Youth Circus holiday workshops Westside Circus is offering a workshop program during Term 4. They encourage young people with and without disabilities to work together, face their fears, have FUN and gain new circus and physical skills. Circus activities are adapted to individual needs ensuring all participants overcome physical challenges, increase social connection and improve personal wellbeing. Workshops will lead to homebodies, a promenade performance in June 2014 by young people of mixed abilities. Workshops will be running on Sundays and are open to young people with disabilities and their siblings, together with a parent/carer in the following 3 groups: 8 – 12 years When: Sundays 10:30am-12pm; Oct 13th, Oct 27th, Nov 10th, Nov 24th, Dec 8th Cost: $90 per child 6 – 12 years When: Sundays 10:30am-12pm; Oct 20th, Nov 3rd, Nov 17th, Dec 1st (no class), Dec 15th Cost: $70 per child 13 – 25 years Oct 13th, Oct 27th, Nov 10th, Nov 24th, Dec 8th Cost: $90 per child Venue: Warehouse 2/29 Cameron Street, Brunswick VIC 3056 Payment options are available.
