Mk2 Golf VR6 ORIGINAL OAK GREEN 3DR FOR SALE : A tidy freshly painted Original Oak Green MK2 with a VR6 conversion already done. Th engine conversion was done by Trix in Dunfermline a few years back along with a new steering rack, strut top mounts, water pump, leads, plugs and filters and fresh oil.. The car has just benefitted from a fresh paintjob and Brand new wheels and tyres.. The coilovers were recently stripped down, cleaned and re greased about a year ago. New pads were fitted when i boiught the car as a safety precaution, the discs are in pretty decent shape so no need to change. Since owning it i have changed the alternator out for a brand new OEM replacement, changed the thermostat, a new battery, a fresh service as the car had been sitting a while. The car is still down as a 1.8gti but i will change it all over for the new owner should they wish for it to be changed via log book. The car has still got MOT until April next year with only 2 warnings on previous of a slightly worn brake pipe and a tyre that was knackered, since then both of these issues have been addressed.. The car and engine have a very fully documented service histroy with a major amount of reciepts for work carried out in the past with a lot of old MOT test certs etc.. The service record shows main dealer stamps throughout. The milage stands at a genuine fully documented 77k.. The engine bay is standard as i havent got around to tidying/smoothing etc. The car benefits from the original GTI interior from new which is in very good shape, but i will provide a full Tan leather interior with the car. Currently fitted is a scorpion stainless exhaust system but it does have a slight blow closer to the front, but i will be providing a stainless six branch manifold with the car which is brand new including heat wrap and new gaskets.. There is a few bits of spare parts to go along with it...( parts i have changed and kept the originals) Im looking for offers around the £3k mark being soo low milage, great history and original oak green in 3dr, plus with the fresh paint,wheels tyres etc etc.. viewing is welcome to hear it runnning and visual inspection.. located in county durham DH2 area...
