Mmmmmm...... Altruistic Police Service .....OR Egotistic Money Grabbing Police FORCE masquerading as Public Servants? I say..... if double demerit points and double fines did NOT yield a BIGGER bottom line, the Police Corporation would NOT pursue such things..... and they count on the Sheeple just meekly rolling over to pay. Penalties imposed roadside are illegal and carry no weight until proven beyond reasonable doubt in a court of competent jurisdiction with a jury of ones peers. The purpose of most roadside infringements of THEIR statute law is pure intimidation .....sending a strong signal to EVERY other motorist who passes..... that next time it could be YOU! Also, by constantly having their hands in our wallets, the SYSTEM keeps us compliant debt slaves. Instead of DEMERIT points and fines, why not REWARD drivers with no faults recorded for a month, three months, six months or a year ..... with a proportional reduction in vehicle registration fees ..... or a reduction in license fees ......or toll free travel on OUR roads? But wait...... its NOT about grabbing more money ..... is it?
