Mob 4 are now castrated dipped and back in their paddocks, as with mob three, we took them back today, ran out of day light yesterday to get them back and was coming in too cold, also gave the young calves a chance to rest up. Abbey all 14.1 h came eye ball to eye ball with a 16 h Brahman Bull today with India on her, was a heart in mouth moment for Mum, luckily neither froze and Abbeys quick fancy footsteps had them out of there safely. Time to truck that boy, he is starting to develop too much of his own mind. Had a moment on reconsidering Alpacas on the bbq......they went out with the cattle fine Abbey and Jethro for their first time of meeting them were not concerned. Last gate before the home paddock for the cows was in the neighbours property, (short cut) alpacas decided they should be with sheep, yep the neighbours sheep, there I was cursing the darned things once again, thinking great now we have to round the pacas up and seperate from neighbers flock.......well they hunted neighbours sheep out of the way and came back to join their cow herd while we just all looked on. So maybe they are not quite as bad as I was thinking. At one point I was thinking great we will dump the blasted things on the neighbours they can live with their sheep as I was pretty over them after yesterday, temporarily redeemed. :)
