The fact is that for the majority of us we spend the most part of our day sitting down. one of the most basic of mobilty exercises for the hip flexors is the modified lunge as seen in the video, it is important to keep the trunk upright as you sway slightly back and forth as it creates more tension allowing the muscle to lengthen and bring it back closer to its natural elasticity.. add the rotation to increase the tension created..
