Mock Meats are Awful for your health! People become vegetarians because they stop eating meat and then many vegetarians turn to mock meat! I can’t stand the thought of a vegetarian wanting to eat mock mutton, mock bacon, mock turkey, mock fish and all that lot of mock stuff. I think it does more harm to a vegetarian. Being vegetarian is healthy but adding all that processed and packaged food in the name of mock meat is one of the worst thing people can do to themselves. The thing is many ignorant people think that all mock meats are soy products and that it must be healthy! It is oily, laden with carbohydrates, additives, artificial ingredients and monosodium glutamate. Gluten is the most common ingredient in many of the mock meats and many people are allergic to gluten without knowing it. Please look after your family members’ and loved ones’ health by educating them. Eat more lentils, fresh vegetables and fruits if you are a vegetarian. Leave the mock meats to those who don’t value their lives.
