Models dont feel bad if this happens to you its very painful and humiliating but it is the surface of the runways to blame! One time I tripped when I was taking a step up onto the runway and almost crashed luckily I caught myself with my other leg and lifted my whole body on 1 foot! The reason that happened was because it was a rooftop night event I went from pitch darkness to a floodlight in my eyes the stairs were black and steep. One good tip for slippery runways is to put masking tape on the soles of your shoes for traction.
