Modem conked out & have been without computer all week. AGGGGHHHHHHH!! Bought a dozen books at the $ store to read this winter. Am now reading historical novel : Tides of War 426 pages; set in the times of the Pelopanisian & many other wars. LOTs of details on culture, Commander & chief of armies, Athens, Sparta & the very famous Syracuse which was in Scicily !! It says the land was fertile & yielded excellent crops, etc. I always heard how poor the Scicilians were ???? Needs research !! Good Ole Craigs again!! Pat found three nice sized cacti: two foot long; one youngster of one kind & a separate cultivar a bit smaller than the two others. Repotting with good soil & regular watering will get them acclimatized. That makes 5 different kind. I will eventually get rabbit ears. They grow phenomenally large & have lovely flowers. The one Canna is blooming again, a beautiful ruby color,this time there are 3 blooms. Just enjoying each day AMAP. The dogs howled during the night & Zu chimed in : what a performance she gave ! She was singing !! I wish I had a recorder.
