Modern style reclaimed wood coffee table...and its available. This is a idea I have had in my head for a long time and had a chance to put it together this week. Top and one side is actually reclaimed material from reclaimed wood....scraps left over from other projects. 6 different species of reclaimed wood; Elm, Ash, Oak, Hickory, Sycamore, and Maple from barns dismantled locally. Top is 2 thick and the pieces are 2 wide giving it a unique look with the variety of colors. I used a gray-silver stain with 3 coats of varnish. The timber holding up one end is a 9x9 solid Red Elm, hand hewn. What do you think?
