Modis the bugger to blame ;) disillusion with Modi is setting in fast. thought he was doing fairly well, but he just starts projects and doesnt finish them. for example the Jan Dhan Yojana (peoples wealth program) where millions of bank accounts were opened. these accounts were meant to bring the poorest of the poor into the economic mainstream but have turned out to be a disaster. people opened accounts which had an overdrawing facility of 5000 bucks, they withdrew the money and have abandoned the accounts. that this would happen was known from earlier experience with similar schemes, yet Modi went ahead with his grandiose pomposity. now the banks are saddled with losses. his cronies are being given huge loans by banks for dubious projects thats gona result in more losses for the nation. the man is turning out be a marketing guy and not an astute mass leader . his clean india program is a huge flop too. the municipalities responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene ought to have been whipped into action. instead, this program is reduced to photo ops for all kinds of celebrities.at one place the tv channel even caught a lot of dry leaves being dumped in an already clean place and then being cleaned up by a politician. what a farce. am beginning to doubt whether Modi will last the 5 years hes been given a madate for, leave alone his dream of being in power for the next 10 years. goes to show good intentions aint enough. need some brains to carry them out which Modi sadly lacks :(
