Moffat To Miss Rockingham Last time out at Knockhill youngster Aiden Moffat made history by becoming the youngest ever driver to compete in the BTCC, but other racing commitments north of the border in Scotland means he will miss this weekends races at Rockingham. This now means there will only be four Jack Sears runners this weekend with Lea Wood in his Wheel Heaven Vauxhall Vectra, Liam Griffin in his Addison Lee/Motorbase Ford Focus, James Kaye in the AmD Honda Civic & David Nye in the Welch Motorsport Ford Focus. With nine races left to run all of them can secure the Jack Sears title, as all have had wins so far this season. Wood has 10 to his name, whilst Griffin has 6, Kaye has 2 and Nye has 1. If Nye wins every race he will finish the season joint first with Wood. But if Wood wins all three races this weekend, an achievement he has already managed, then he will wrap up the Championship at Rockingham. So keep an eye out for where he finishes because come Sunday night he could walk away with one of the biggest prizes up for grabs in 2013. Written by Chris Chatters
