Mohammad - the Prophet Who Never Prophesied by Geri Ungurean Noah Websters original 1828 dictionary defines a prophet as: One that fortells future events; a predicter; a foreteller In Scripture, a person illuminated, inspired or instructed by God to announce future events One who pretends to foretell; an imposter; as a false prophet Biblical prophets proved their prophetic calling in one of two ways. Either their prophecies came true in a short period of time, proving that they had received divine inspiration, or God had given them the ability to perform mighty miracles as proof that God had called them to be His prophets. The so-called prophet Muhammad NEVER made even one predictive prophecy. NOT ONE. Hence, he failed the first test. The Arabs of Muhammad’s time wanted proof that he was indeed a prophet. They demanded a miracle from him or a sign to show them he was indeed a prophet. But the Qur’an talks of Muhammad as someone who was sent to sound a warning: “Do they not reflect that their companion has not unsoundness in mind; he is only a plain warner.” (Sura 7:184) “Say: I do not control any benefit or harm for my own soul except as Allah please; and had I known the unseen I would have had much of good and no evil would have touched me; I am nothing but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who believe.” (Sura 7:188) “Then, it may be that you will give up part of what is revealed to you and your breast will become straitened by it because they say: Why has not a treasure been sent down upon him or an angel come with him? You are only a warner; and Allah is custodian over all things.” (Sura 11:12) “And those who disbelieve say: Why has not a sign been sent down upon him from his Lord? You are only a warner and (there is) a guide for every people.” (Sura 13:7) (emphasis mine) “And they say: Why are not signs sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner.” (Sura 29:50) Muhammad denied the ability to perform miracles, as requested by the Jews, as proof of his prophetic calling. His response: I am sent only as a warner. Translation: I cannot provide you with the miracle you ask for. Muhammad thus fails the second test. And this is the prophet whom over 300,000,000 Muslims are willing to slaughter anyone who draws a likeness of him? This is the man whom when his name is uttered, the Muslim bows his head in reverence and says in Arabic “Peace be upon him.” Seeing that I believe that Allah is actually Satan, I also believe that the ones who have become Islamic terrorists are demon possessed. What does Satan want to accomplish through Muhammad? We who are born again, blood bought Christians look to certain facts and events from the Bible which give us assurance of our Salvation. Jesus is our sacrifice - He paid with His own life and blood the penalty for our sins. Jesus is God incarnate. Only the blood of God Himself would suffice upon that Cross to be the FINAL sacrifice for SIN. We deserved hell, He wants to reconcile us to His Father . We cannot keep the whole law - Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law. When we sincerely repent of our sinful ways and agree with God that we are indeed sinners, and when we trust the finished work of Christ upon that horrid Cross for our Salvation, we become children of God. Here are verses from the Word of God regarding the crucifixion of Christ: “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whales belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”- Matthew 12:40 “From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day”.- Matthew 16:21 “And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.” - Matthew 20:17-19 In the Qur’an, it is stated that Jesus was never crucified. The crucifixion of our Lord was one of the most documented and well established facts in in history. Here are three separate accounts of that event by three historians: Thallos (55 A.D.): An ancient historian who wrote a three-volume history. In volume 3, Thallos mentions the darkness that occurred at the death of Jesus, just as recorded in Matthew 27:45, Mark 15:33, and Luke 23:44. Thallos certainly was no friend of Christians; he attempted to attribute the darkness to a solar eclipse, a natural phenomenon, rather than a miracle as scripture and tradition proclaimed. Julius Africanus rebuffed Thallos argument years later by noting that Jesus was crucified during Passover, which occurs during a full moon. A solar eclipse cannot occur during a full moon but rather occurs during the opposite phase of the moon, or a new moon. Cornelius Tacitus (55-120 A.D.): This respected Roman historian had a disdain for Christians, calling them believers in a most mischievous superstition. Nevertheless, Tacitus confirms that this sect was formed from followers of Christus, [a Roman rendering of the Greek Christ] who suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberias at the hands of Pontius Pilate. The term extreme penalty refers to crucifixion, the most extreme form of punishment used during the Roman Empire. Lucian of Samosata (115-200 A.D.): A well-known satirist and lecturer, Lucian refers to Christians as poor wretches and foolish people who accept such things on faith alone, without any evidence. He also calls them ones who worship the man in Palestine who was crucified because he brought this new form of initiation into the world. Lucian further mocks Christians for believing that they are all brothers the moment they transgress and deny the Greek gods and begin worshipping that crucified sophist and living by his laws.” [1] So, now we see that the Qur’an denies the crucifixion which is paramount to our faith. But secondly, the Qur’an states that Jesus was merely a prophet - NOT God or the Son of God: “O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not Trinity : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.” (4:171, Yusif Ali) Brethren, can you see what Satan is attempting to accomplish with his false religion, Islam? This father of lies, and author of confusion has taken away the two most important parts of our Gospel; the fact that Jesus is God and that He was crucified for us, that we might be reconciled to our Father in heaven. “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:4) Jesus loves the Muslim people. Let’s pray that the glorious gospel of Christ would shine into many of them, and they would receive Him as their Lord and Savior. Maranatha! Jesus is Lord [1] radicaltruth.net/index.php/learn/muhammad/34-was-muhammad-a-real-prophet
