Mohammed Lawal Shuaibu wrote and I concur: The hue and cry about getting General Muhammadu Buhari (GMB) persuaded from contesting the 2015 election is laughable; and is obviously coming from the fifth-columnists in APC. Their assignment is to mitigate the electoral power of this most accepted party by using Trojan horses to tear it apart so as to pave the way for GEJ to emerge easily in the next presidential election. The incontrovertible truth is that APC without GMB will be useless to millions of Nigerians. GMB is still needed because of what he represents (reliability, accountability and incorruptibility). His qualities, which are required to get Nigeria from the morass of backwardness, remain the reasons he is the most dreaded politician in Nigeria today. The looting elements in power will rather get the boat (Nigeria) cap-sided than having GMB as President. Their (evil men) effort at outwitting this straight forward General politically is already in futility. Their usual campaign of calumny is now falling on deaf ears. The slogan across Nigeria is still “sai Buhari”. In case APC concedes its ticket to the north, somebody, anybody should please tell me about any politician from Idah to Jibia that has the popularity, integrity and credibility of GMB? Behold the Abraham Lincoln of the 21st century.
