Mohispac Foundation is a nonprofit organization with Registration No 15NGO/00003934 under section 12(2) of ACT NO 24 of 2002 in the year 2010 in Tanzania to promote the conservation of Shengena forest biodiversity hotspot to provide sustainable solution to the problem that has driven deforestation and mines activities taking place within the forest. The Shengena forest is the second largest forest in northern part of Tanzania after Kilimanjaro forest mountain and among of the few natural reserve still remained in Tanzania which is rich in numerous water springs, home to animals, reptiles and bird species rare in other parts of the world needs protection implied to the promotion of both fauna and flora which attract many people to visit the forest. Currently the forest is faced with a number of man-initiated threats. These includes forest fires, encroachment for agriculture, tree felling for wood fuel, building materials(logs, timbers) which suffocate indigenous species caused by Gold mines activities taking place illegally within the forest. But now the forest, spring water, natural vegetation, species, wild animals are in danger to disappear due to the deforestation and Gold mines activities taking place within the forest. Therefore, the projects intends to address man-initiated threats with the view to making a contribution in forest management, environmental education, research, advocacy, stopping mines activities, restoring natural vegetation within and around the forest to improve their livelihood. But all these wealth of the National are endanger to disappear due to man threats caused by forest mining activities, Forest fires, illegal trees harvesting and so many other factors which has caused miserable and disappearing of rare species in the forest. Due to these factors we are calling upon all good wishers of the environments to join hands with us to save the entirely forest in our project worth $ 5000.
