Moira and I both survived! We spent the day in San Francisco with hundreds of book sellers, publishers, and authors. We each attended various seminars, had lunch with authors who then each told us about the new books they have coming out soon. One even sang a song that his character wrote in the novel. He blew out the sound system; luckily it was quickly repaired. After lunch we had a couple more sessions before the childrens authors tea. I was feeling quite full, so I skipped the Mexican food at the cocktail party, grabbed a glass of wine and hit the show floor. By 7 PM when we left I had 3 shopping bags of advanced reading copies to see me through the next few days( Ha Ha). Now all I need is more time to read, preferably not in the evening. I find when I sit down at night to read, I fall asleep! Ill be at the store today. Rose gets to go with Moira and have a great time talking to book people. Linda
