Molly Praises!! I have been MIA from FB lately. We have been busy and frankly, I have been quite tired. However, I need to push through because it is always encouraging to hear of what Jesus has allowed to happen during our battle. We have been praying for her to have opportunities to have fun and well, to enjoy living!! Here is one out of the 2 things that have brought some living back into our lives. Last week, I received a phone call from Friends of Kids With Cancer. Someone had donated 2 tickets to the One Direction concert and Molly was excited to go. However, they were not in the handicap section and it began to look like we couldnt go. Whomever it was that donated the tickets, heard of our dilemma and purchased 2 extra tickets for us right where we needed them!! God got us down there safely (boy, that was a lot of traffic). God gave Molly the energy to go (she had been at school all day). When we reached downtown, a place I am very unfamiliar with, a road or 2 were closed and traffic was getting even worse!!! Time was running out, the concert was about to start! I felt a little push to turn away from the traffic, down a side road, and immediately to our left was not only Dome parking, but the very first parking spot & last, was a handicap spot!!!! We hopped out of the car & walked to the dome. Later that night, we discovered that we were on TV as we walked across the street. A news anchor was reporting on the concert & its massive attendance. This was a new experience for Molly so thank you to a couple of moms from Mollys school for providing the ear plugs!!! It was loud!! She had a great time and received a free t-shirt from another mom in the audience. This mom was there with her daughter that 2 years prior went through cancer treatments for another type of bone cancer. The daughter came down and encouraged Molly to keep fighting!! On the way home, traffic was definitely mounting. Thankfully, where we parked had a back gate. We took a left out of the gate, a right at the light and we were off to the highway. We avoided the post concert traffic!!! Thank you, Jesus for giving Molly something fun to do!!
