Mom, Margie Keats, last week, I finished reading Clint Malarchuks The Crazy Game #crazygame. Although I have given away one copy already, and have bought one copy for a Christmas gift for a professional in my life who treated professional hockey players, its too graphic to give to you to read, so heres a link to his interview by Jian Ghomeshi, one of the last interviews that Jian did. What is not shown here is Jian admitting that he suffers from anxiety and them crying in one anothers arms. Some of Jians questions and Clints answers are particularly poignant in light of recent events. As we say good-bye for a short while to Stan Carew of Weekend Mornings as he takes a leave of absence to deal with mental illness, one can imagine how the lives of Jian and Clint would have been different if they had followed a similar course. This is also for my FB friends who are in the ministry, such as Kim Dickison, Wayne Murphy, Holly McKenzie, and Brian Molloy, who have to deal with people with mental illness and those that love them.
