Mom Post I have a question Id like to ask. I am a BioMom and step mom. We are having issues in our home and Im at a loss as to what to do. I know part of it is just going to take time, but my husband is really hurting BC of it. SD5 has just began to be able to see us regularly after a 2.5 yr custody battle. Mom refused contact and made false allegations, lied in court, and did everything she could to keep her away. Court saw through it, but I now think these things she does is caused by her#1 her mom lying to her #2 being angry at Dad for leaving #3 we cant yet tell her the truth. Not yet. We cant put her in counseling just yet and her counselor at moms is a personal friend and jumped on the mom bandwagon from day one. We have seen her for a little over a month now. She is having no issues with her siblings. She clings to me. I cant leave the room without her. I dont know how to explain her behavior towards my husband other than her being mean. She will only interact with him is its her way... She will happily paint his nails (BC she knows its not something he likes) and will force feed him when I get her to help me in the kitchen. Again trying to shove his mouth or smear it on his face. She will squirt him with the water hose when he is supervising them play outside on the slippin slide. She will hug me but flat refuses to hug him now. I have told her it hurts his feelings and she grins from ear to ear. My husband is really hurt and I know its just BC of what has happened that she is acting out. I need some help before it destroys any chance of a real relationship between them and my other children pick up on it. I am going to see someone (child psychologist) to talk to them about it, but appt is 5 weeks away. I want her in counseling but until we can finalize a permanent order, we dont really have that option. Plz help! Our nightmare was supposed to be over and it looks like its just taken a different form! Oh and just to clarify, we cant tell her the truth as in we cant say your mama lied and no one is allowed to discuss any of it with her per the court order, but she is asking questions. rp No Bashing Please Ruby
