Mom had another chemo treatment on Sept.11. The treatment went well, but the premeds she received made her a little unsteady on her feet. After we made a few stops and getting back to her driveway mom was trying to sit her trashcan up and took a little spill. After checking mom out she had scrapped both her legs and injured her hand. A little later I took mom back to CareFirst and she recieved 3 stitches in her hand. :( The chemo that mom is receiving has a bad side effect of memory loss and confusion. They call it chemo brain. Mom is repeating herself several times and staying confused on some things. :( Mom has received one of three neupogen shots so far and is feeling ROUGH. She is a little sore from her fall plus the shots make her feel bad. Mom is still having a lot of issues with her stomach too. Please say a prayer that she gets to feeling better. Its so sad to see people put their bodies through turmoil to try and make it another day. I will post some pictures later today of her on Thursday. Thanks and blessings to each and everyone that checks on mom whether it be on the computer, calling her or going to visit. It ALL means SO VERY MUCH!!! GOD Bless!!
