Mom has had a steady group of visitors today and has tolerated it well although she asked me to announce that visiting hours were over. We decreased the amount of prednisone that she is taking with the hope that it will reduce the water retention and bloating. She is eating less, but can still destroy a DIlly Bar from the DQ in record time. She is still bloating and I am hoping that the decreased prednisdone will help with the water retention. It appears that the lymphoma is trying to win the fight as her lymph nodes are growing. Everyone is welcome, with a telephone call or arrangements in advance. Be aware that she may choose to retreat to her room at any time and you will be stuck visiting with me. Bring food and drink! Everyone seems to be hungry and thirsty. LOL
