Mom is on her way to the ER over in Loudoun hospital. The blood work they did today have less than happy results (not surprising given how badly she has been feeling the last week). They tried to get her to go on Sunday, but she refused, and now it is not an option. At the very least I am sure they are going to put her on fluids and intravenous feeding. Now we have to wait to hear that she is on her way and/or at the ER there, as our presence would be more of a hindrance at first. Any prayers or energy sent her way would be appreciated. Most likely David and I will be heading over to the hospital as soon as we know she is there (and where she will be located there.) On the plus side - Loudoun hospital is only 10 minutes from us, 20 minutes in horrendous traffic, a far cry from the 45 to 120+ minute travel to Fairfax Hospital and a room in that ghastly Grey Tower. (and the worst set up for handicapped visitors.)
