Mom moments... A few quiet minutes together in the room alone last night with Jen, she softly inquired about details surrounding the time she was asleep or as she now references when I was frozen, like Mel Gibson in Forever Young. (We watched it during my last visit to help with Bryson). Her concerns continue to be about how scary it must have been for Jason and all the family when we got the news. Now almost three years a mom, she said she couldnt imagine how she would ever be able to handle this kind of news about her sweet Kinley. Mom to mom I told her, God gives us the grace and strength in the moment we need it . Strangely not a minute before. But at that critical moment He is always there. As her thoughts moved to little Bryson, her eyes filled with tears, Do you think he will remember my voice Mom? she whispered. It was at that moment I crawled into her hospital bed with her, cradled my babys head and reassured her that her baby definitely would. I know her voice is imprinted forever in her precious baby boy and one day soon she, Jason, sweet Kinley Koo and baby Bryson will be reunited. We continue to trust God for Jennas total healing on this unexpected journey of strength and grace. To God be the glory!
