Mom update - this has been a roller coaster week. Her lung doctor believes that the PET scan shows cancer in her lymph nodes. However the oncologist said that the biopsy on tumor/lump/spot in her lung was clear of cancer cells, and immediately said that doesnt mean it isnt cancer. The biopsy did show that whatever it is, while near her heart, isnt touching her heart. So we continue, another CT scan today, then another doctor. Another test tomorrow, and hopefully they can agree on a diagnosis and treatment, if needed. If not cancer, then what is going on with the lymph nodes? Thank you for the continued love and support.
