(Mom update): The best New Years Eve I could have asked for - mom is doing better. Shes been awake and alert all afternoon and night, smiling and telling us what New Years shows we can watch. :) Making faces at the performers she doesnt like. Its an incredible difference from yesterday. The MRI from earlier today shows no new strokes or seizures, and the others are fading away slowly. Theres a bit of hemorrhage around the one stroke area that they believe will resolve itself. Itll be a few days until she can get the back surgery; they want to ensure shes off of blood thinning agents like aspirin for a while first. For safety. So heres to hoping that this will be a great start for 2015.
