Moments from our weekend of moving! (Moved Rob & Janni into an unfurnished house in Old Town in Pocatello, where they are attending ISU) 1. Stressful moment - The look on Steve’s face when I showed him the 3 (exceptionally large) pots of zinnias I had planted for the kids. Perhaps I shouldn’t have waited to the very end of our packing, (when we were nearly out of room) to spring this on him! 2.Stressful & annoying moment - The phone call from Steve when he let me know that I had directed him to an underpass with a 12’2” clearance (our u-haul truck was 12’ tall) – Seriously?!! 3.Frustrating moments– discovering that the TV Uncle Shawn gave us had no dvd input, that the modem we purchased was NOT compatible with CenturyLink, and that we will have to spend more than $10 on an antennae (need a converter box as well) to pick up local stations. 4.Pleasant Surprise Moment – discovering that the washer & dryer we got from Steve’s grandmother not only work well but actually look nice after we cleaned them up! 5.Happy Moment – finding plates & forks (after searching through any number of boxes) so we could enjoy an Oatmeal Pie from ButterBurr’s after our day of hard work - yum :)
