Momma M Here: Unfortunately I have no news to tell you on Tys biopsy results. I called them at 3 today and they still had not received the results back. They were hoping by the end of the day or if not tomorrow sooooo I guess we have to wait another day! In other news: Ty went exploring through the house today. Went from room to room. Met up with Spencer. Spencer was ok until nose to nose and then he hissed and growled(normal cat stuff). In case you are wondering why Ty is confined to his on kings suite most of the time, it is for several reasons. 1. His own safety. with the eye wound we dont think it would be good to just allow him to be out in the general public in case an argument were to happen when we are not around to intercede. 2. You have to keep in mind that Ty was a stray/feral and his instinct is to run and hide. It is very difficult to catch him again once he is out because he is constantly trying to run, going from room to room if he thinks you are trying to catch him. This makes it nearly impossible to give him his medications and eye treatments unless we have hours to give chase, which we dont. 3. It gives Ty a refuge that he can feel completely safe and familiar with and he really does seem to like having that option.
