Mommy Question: My daughters umbilical cord dropped off on its own on day 5..no issues. Shes 5wks now and i noticed this little raw-looking flesh at her belly button. Anyone noticed this in their babies before or knows what/why its like that? My two older boys did not have this so i am wondering if we should head to the doctors or if this is something fairly common that will resolve itself in due time.
