Our kids are being given tests without telling the parents. In the first week of school, CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, are given, Base Line testing. Open ended tests. Thank Goodness for my Refusal Letter. When I met with my sons Principal, she told me that I was the only one that REFUSED these baseline tests. Really?? She called them a farce and waste of time. Could you imagine a first grader, given a test that they can not possible finish? What do you think that does to their self esteem, right off the bat, so to speak. My son suffered Common Core , 4th and 5th. His self esteem has tanked, big time. I feel sad and angry, at the same time. We must fight.
