Moms, dads, teachers, child care professionals...my son can NOT sit still in class. He will sit and focus on things of his choice, but when it comes to class, hes a sensory learner. And unlike most children learns more effectively when hes moving, or making noise. Hes brilliant (of course I think so, but his teacher agrees!) but is such a distraction to other students and at other times is inappropriate about it (flops down on the floor, lays across his desk, etc.) Anyone out there have any suggestions?
