Moms got surgery today... and I have found this interesting and wanted to share. So moms two brand new titanium knees over the past two years have turned out to be wonderful replacement knees, which had pretty much completely given out on her. Great job Johnson Neil R MD ! This doc is very good at his profession!!! If you need an orthopedic surgeon, I would not hesitate to recommend him at all! So a few weeks ago, as mom was out exercising her knees on a walk through her neighborhood. #cityofbloomington had completely ripped up the road surfaces in there for some insane reason. Mom found herself a #ghosthole, tripped ass over tea kettle, and landed directly on a shoulder. Torn rotator cuff. This surgery should be far easier than her knees but please put her in your thoughts today as she goes under the knife again... Mom if you keep this up youre gonna be the first bionic woman... at least bionic jointed. The video is an actual rotator cuff repair surgery and may be a bit graphic, but I find it fascinating just how far technology and biology have come even in my short 37 years here.
