Proverbs 29:2 Exo 1:15-21 Earlier,God had promised Abraham dat through him,d whole world would be blessed. Abraham had Isaac,Isaac had Jacob & Esau, and Jacob had 12 sons. By d time they got to Egypt,dey were 70 in no. The Egyptians however became afraid of them. After all d Pharaohs dat knew about Joseph died,one came who did not know Joseph. Dis Pharaoh came up wit an evil strategy against d children of Isreal. We ought to learn a few lessons from these events. We know changes in govt are bound to happen as one govt gives way to another. Yet d government of the Most High God remains unchangeable. Since dis govt is d highest level of govt,it can impose its will on all earthly govts. Therefore to remain relevant at all times,stay connected wit d govt of heaven. I once asked God why He decided to hide so many truths in d Book of Exodus & He replied dat the Book of Exodus is the book of d rapture. He said just as d children of Isreal went en masse from Egypt so wil d saints leave d world someday. Are u prepared for dis glorious day? Remember there may be no notice other than a reminder like d one u are having now. Moreover,we also learn how dangerous it is to have power witout d fear of God. Which is why we must pray fervently dat from now onwards,anyone witout d fear of God will never rule our nations again. Anyone in govt who does not care about preserving d lives of those under him/her has failed in governance. When d righteous are in authority,joy should flood dat city/state. But if u claim to be righteous & those under u are in sorrow during ur dispensation,u are a shame to d body of Christ. How is ur life bringing joy to others? ACTION POINT Using Psalm 72:7,pray dat during ur tenor in ministerial or secular affairs,d righteous will flourish & peace shall abound all through ur sphere of influence
