Monaco turn to Jesus Benfica will play against Sevilla in their Europa League final soccer match on Wednesday. Monaco may switch their focus to Benfica coach Jorge Jesus as they continue to look for a replacement for Claudio Ranieri. The Monegasque club have been linked with several names as speculation about former Chelsea boss Ranieri’s future increases. The Ligue One side are said to be looking at Southampton’s Mauricio Pochettino and Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger. The Gunners boss is out of contract at the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season and was reported to have been offered a £10 million-a-year after tax salary to take over at Monaco. However, with Wenger reluctant to leave the Premier League and soon to sign an extension, Monaco are set to turn their attention to Benfica boss Jesus. According to a report in L’Equipe, Monaco’s billionaire Russian owner Dimitry Rybolovlev has given the backing for an offer to be made for the Benfica boss. Jesus has led Benfica to another Portuguese title this season and the final of the Europa League.
