Monday 10/6 My dear friends : first I want to say how much Ive missed you all. You really are all family to me. Hoping my device will allow this posting. Im still having troubles w this thing, but well see. This may be my last post for awhile, until I can get back on my feet. A good friend said I should be honest and let you all know the reality of things. Well , the truth is, a lot is going on. Property taxes are due, its getting colder at night , cupboards are bare, but somehow life keeps going. How, I dont know. Its going to be a long winter, I can already see that. I am trying so hard to keep my head above water but I could surely use help. I am approaching a desperate situation. Please , if anyone can help in any way, write me at Ray Hawkins , 7788 Appleton Road, Brewton AL 36426 immediately. I have already been in touch with any local or government agency that could be of any assistance and its been made clear I dont qualify for any. Meanwhile, I grow tireder and hungrier. And cold ! --No, we dont have food kitchens or anything like that. And I have no transport so I am isolated. I imagine I will lose friends due to this , and that saddens me, but folks Im trying to survive here and Im sorry if that offends anyone. If I wasnt in trouble I wouldnt be asking for help. Please help me keep my home and not go hungry. I am also including the information for my local heating fuel company. Thanks in advance for your kindness and my last request is please no inboxes or unkind posts here as I may not be online for awhile to read them. Loving you all and hoping to be back soon .
