Monday 10th March 2014. Fearing GOD. When we look around at nature and behold creation,we are in awe of how these things came to be. When we see the animals in their diversity it boggles the mind. When we look at ourselves and how every part of us has relevance to the welbeing of the whole body,and we wonder what manner of being made us. We realise the greatness of God. We acclaim his Omniscience. His omnipresence is evident wherever we look. I believe these facts alone call us to have fear and reverance for the LORD. When we fear God,we appreciate his true worth,even though we can never fully understand his power. The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom,And before honour is humilityProv 15:33. When we humbly ourselves,before him,give him the due honour that is His,we gain insight and wisdom. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life. To turn one away from the snares of deathProv 14:27. The more we acknowledge His Omnscience we learn what our purpose for being is. It is the Lord who gives wisdom;from Him come knowledge and understandingProv 2:6. When we fear the LORD,it is when we can praise and worship Him in truth and spirit. When we see and relate to His greatness,we understand how insignificant we are. When we are humbly,having gained insight as to what knowledge is,we will know our faults and we will seek God to lead us to his inner sanctuary wherein we shall honour,glorify Him with our souls. Let us have reverance to the great I AM.
