So, whats a cool Biblical scripture to read, um....well! surmising the pages of Gods word. Wow! the book of Joel 2v11-13(NEW WORLD TRANSLATION); 1. And Jehovah himself will certainly give forth his voice 2. before his military force, 3. for his camp is very numerous. 4. For he who is carrying out his word is mighty; for the day of Jehovah is great 5. and very fear-inspiring, and who can hold up under it? 6. And now also, the utterance of Jehovah is, come back to me with all YOUR hearts, 7. and with fasting 8. and with weeping and with wailing. 9. And rip apart all YOUR hearts, 10. and not YOUR garments; 11. and come back to Jehovah YOUR God, for he is gracious and merciful, 12. slow to anger 13. and abundant in loving-kindness, 14. and he will certainly feel regret on account of the calamity. Numbers 24v23 And he carried further his proverbial utterance and went on to say: Woe! Who will survive when God causes it? > Nahum 1v6 In the face of his denunciation who can stand? And they began saying there: We have sinned against Jehovah. And Samuel took up judging the sons of Israel in Mizpah. > 2 Chronicles 20v3 At that Je-hosh-a-phat became afraid and set his face to search for Jehovah. So he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. 10. Ezra 10v1 Now as soon as Ezra had prayed and he had made confession while weeping and lying prostrate before the house of the [true] God, those of Israel collected themselves together to him, a very large congregation, men and women and children, for the people had wept profusely. > Isaiah 22v12 And the Sovereign Lord, Jehovah of armies, will call in that day for weeping and for mourning and for baldness and for girding on sackcloth. > James 4v9 Give way to misery and mourn and weep. Let YOUR laughter be turned into mourning, and [YOUR] joy into dejection. 11. 2 Kings 22v19 for the reason that your heart was soft so that you humbled yourself because of Jehovah at your hearing what I have spoken against this place and its inhabitants [for it] to become an object of astonishment and a malediction, and then you ripped your garments apart and began weeping before me, I, even I, have heard, is the utterance of Jehovah. > Psalm 34v18 Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; And those who are crushed in spirit he saves. > Psalm 51v17 The sacrifices to God are a broken spirit; A heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not despise. > Isaiah 57v15 For this is what the High and Lofty One, who is residing forever and whose name is holy, has said: In the height and in the holy place is where I reside, also with the one crushed and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly ones and to revive the heart of the ones being crushed. 12.
