Monday (9/15/14) – Ace of Pentacles - This card heralds new opportunities at sight (not only materially, but it also relates to invigorating new possibilities within a variety of aspects of our lives), good health or work that is supposed to increase prosperity. There is no desire to burn, flow or fly in the Ace of Pentacles though; here we are dealing with a realistic need to be grounded, to make, build and touch. Like a seed in the ground, there is a desire to sprout roots and just become. The pentacle is taken in hand, and, for now, we want only to have it solidly in our pocket, like an amulet that will attract good luck as well as tangible possibilities of success. However, it is advisable to remember that this is just the outset. Nonetheless, we should put our expectations aside (which most times turn into mere delusions due to our tenacious habit of creating lots of deceitful mental pictures) and stand fast in the Now. The Now is the only “space” where we can make the most of what this arcanum draws into our lifetimes - J.M.
