Outbreaks of rain across the south, gradually clearing overnight. Elsewhere, colder with clear spells and wintry showers, perhaps heavy. Some snow accumulations possible, mainly in the far north. Showers turning increasingly wintry across the uk during tomorrow with some snow accumulations likely across northern and central areas, and perhaps southern hills.
