Monday, December 8, 2014, 8 am - Pahoa overflight: The flow has continued its downhill progression, moving approximately 120 yards since Friday morning. USGS says its position is approximately 2.4 miles from Hwy 130. Although the forward paced has slowed, the flow seems to be spreading out, as the leading edge is now at least 100 yards wide and active breakouts are occurring just upslope of it.
